Director Clinical Services

Hi there and thank you for taking the time to read about our specialists and services. I founded Studio 2 Forty-Two in 2013 after 23 years of working in Australian Government departments. I have enjoyed various roles in police, corrections, emergency services and disability services. Some of my roles have included Principal Clinician Violent offending for Corrective Services, Principal Clinician DS, and Senior Clinician Workforce Wellbeing Program, subcontractor to the Department of Home Officer Affairs (PNG and Nauru). My final role in Government being Director of Clinical Practices for Disability Service, Central Region, Queensland.

I have practiced as a psychologist in Australia in the clinical and forensic field for 17 years as a practitioner and supervisor.   Enviroments have included medium, high and maximum-security correctional facilities, hospitals, detention centres, containment and seclusion within the community, and remote locations. The focus of my practice has always been onsite evidenced based and contemporary clinical application in complex and often high-risk environments in Australia and overseas.  I have practiced in behaviour support for 11 years and proud to be one of the few practitioners to have held the position of Principal Clinician Specialist Response Service for DS Queensland.  This role was dedicated to legally upholding the human rights of vulnerable individuals in our community with a disability subjected to Restricted Practices. Human rights, remaining client focused and being present have been the philosophical underpinnings of all my work and research.  These are also the philosophical threads that have been used to create the fabric of unique services offered by Studio 2 Forty-Two Pty Ltd.
