Hi I am, Robyn Eyers. A little about me, firstly I am a proud Aboriginal woman, I come from the Wiradjuri people in NSW. I have a Bachelor of Social Science majoring in Welfare as well as diplomas in Child, Youth and Family Intervention and Aboriginal Studies and I have been working in the area of mental health for the last 20 years.
I am a qualified counsellor with international experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse clients, in the areas of mental health, addiction, suicidal ideation, grief/loss and complex trauma/torture. I have worked as a Senior Clinician with Queensland Disability Services assisting high needs individuals and families using positive behaviour support techniques.
My biggest joy is working with Aboriginal people to overcome their mental health concerns, intellectual disability or severely challenging behaviour and to go on to achieve their life goals.
I look forward to work together with you and to achieve your personal challenges.
